Terms and Conditions for Buying Generators

Delivery of the AIR-COOLED MODELS: 7-10-13 kW
(See below for delivery of LIQUID-COOLED MODELS) Available either from the factory or from our warehouse in Rochester, NY.

1. Transportation Charges for Factory Shipments to the 48 Contiguous United States
   1. If you will wait for the factory to ship DIRECTLY TO YOUR LOADING DOCK ONLY, which must be accessible by tractor trailer, then the price shown is the delivered price to any loading dock accessible by tractor trailer, and all deliveries are FOB destination with all transportation and handling charges paid by Better Power, Inc.
   2. In "normal times" the factory ships in 2-3 days. But when disasters cause a drastic increase in the demand for generators, the factory may be backordered for weeks. Call the BPI office for current information.
   3. Delivery dates are estimated and cannot be guaranteed.
   4. BPI is not responsible for the trucker showing up at any agreed time. We recommend that you call the trucker's local dispatcher early on the morning of the day of delivery to get a good approximation.
   5. Liftgate delivery is available for generators of 25kW and below and is free to commercial addresses. If you want liftgate delivery to a residential address, please call us for a quote.
2. Transportation Charges from the BPI Warehouse to the 48 Contiguous United States
   1. If you want us to ship immediately from our wholesaler stock, then add the shipping charges, and shipments are FOB Rochester, NY.
   2. Either use your own trucker or call us for a quote for our trucker.
   3. If you use our trucker, and your generator is 25kW or less, liftgate delivery to your driveway is available at no extra charge, BUT MUST BE SPECIFIED AT TIME OF ORDER. Otherwise, a loading dock is required that is accessible to a tractor trailer.

3. Pick Up from the BPI Warehouse
   1. Our Rochester warehouse is open 6am-9pm Monday-Friday & 8am-3:30pm Saturdays: C&M Forwarding, 45 JetView Dr., Rochester, NY 14624. When you call us regarding a pickup, we will give you directions.
   2. Our warehouse usually stocks 8-10-14-17-20kW air-cooled generators, and all single-phase RTS-type automatic transfer switches for these generators. Always call the BPI office first to authorize the warehouse to release items to you.
   3. Our fork-lifts can load your truck at the loading dock or on the driveway.

1. We accept checks or Money Orders. If you are picking up from the warehouse, they will accept your payment. If we are shipping the equipment to you, please mail your payment to: Better Power, Inc., 2140 West Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14623. We will ship when the payment has cleared the bank. Please make your check out to Better Power, Inc.
2. You may use any Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card.

You hereby certify that your purchase is a bona fide, non-cancelable, non-returnable Final Sale. Defects, if any, will be remedied in the field under the Manufacturer's Limited Warranty.

Warranty is from the manufacturer only, not BPI, and takes effect when the item is shipped. Contact BPI for the name of the authorized warranty service nearest to you.

Disputes: The venue for any dispute is Monroe County, NY, under the laws of the State of New York.

Limited Responsibility: By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that we are not and have not been responsible for your installation, adjustment, repair, licensing, or qualifications; that payment of use tax, if any, is solely your responsibility; and that you accept the above Terms and Conditions.
